Smeg Induction Hob SIA1963D

A hob designed for the ultimate in flexibility and freedom of movement, the SIA1963D is the induction hob of the future. Featuring an impressive 7" high resolution colour TFT display, every position, size and shape of the pots is shown directly on the screen and allows intuitive control of the hob. A timer can be set for each pot or pan and you can customise your preferences with the menu settings. This VIVOscreen MAX touch display beautifully complements the co-ordinating Smeg oven range, and is encompassed by an elegant flat ceran glass which is easy to clean.
This Induction hob allows for precise temperature control when doing intricate cooking or simmering for example. Heat is only generated when the pan comes into direct contact of the specific cooking zone, ensuring safety in the presence of children. This helps optimise power consumption, only using the energy needed to heat the pan itself.
A great feature of this hob is 'follow pot', an intelligent automatic pan detection system which recognises the position and size of the pan and allows you to move them freely.
Simply slide your pan across to a new area of the hob and the TFT display will show you the new position of your pan and adjust the heat settings accordingly.
Up to 6 pots or pans can be used on the hob at the same time without any limitation on their size, and without having specific cooking zones. There are 3 automatic programmes; melting, keep warm and simmering for ease of use. Other features include 17 power levels, power boosters, ecologic advanced and child safety lock.
